Rahu Shanti Puja

Rahu is the north node of the Moon: ambition, the foreign and the unexpected. The tradition offers Rahu Shanti Puja in a Rahu mahadasha or antardasha, when Rahu is strong in a chart, and for Kaal Sarp yoga. The pandits chant Rahu's mantra with offerings of black sesame, blue cloth and coconut.

You choose how it is done. A One-day Jaap brings a team of pandits together to complete your chants in a single day. A Seven-day Anushthan has pandits chant for you alone, every day for seven days. A Mahapujan is the full ceremony on a larger scale, with havan. Every option is performed in full, in your name and gotra, by the same Vedic procedure.
