Shani is the graha of time, effort and consequence. The tradition turns to Shani Shanti Puja during Sade Sati, Shani's dhaiya, a Saturn mahadasha, or whenever life asks for patience and steady effort. The pandits chant Shani's mantra for you and make the offerings that belong to him: sesame, mustard oil, black cloth and iron.

You choose how it is done. A One-day Jaap brings a team of pandits together to complete your chants in a single day. A Seven-day Anushthan has pandits chant for you alone, every day for seven days. A Mahapujan is the full ceremony on a larger scale, with havan. Every option is performed in full, in your name and gotra, by the same Vedic procedure.
