The Mahamrityunjaya mantra, from the Rig Veda, is the prayer to Shiva as Tryambaka, the three-eyed, to be freed from the fear of death as a ripe cucumber is freed from its vine. The tradition turns to it in illness and recovery, before surgery, in dangerous periods, and in planetary periods that weigh on health.

You choose how it is done. A One-day Jaap brings a team of pandits together to complete your chants in a single day. A Seven-day Anushthan has pandits chant for you alone, every day for seven days. A Mahapujan is the full ceremony on a larger scale, with havan. Every option is performed in full, in your name and gotra, by the same Vedic procedure.
